Below is a chart to help you determine how much food you should have. This is the recommended number of total servings you should have. First, figure out the number of people you want to have food for. Second, guess if they are average eaters, big eaters or really big eaters ("Lots of Teens"). Third, look at the number of servings and set your goal.
Calculations based on approximately 1300 - 1950 calories per day for a 6 month supply of food per person.
